"I am my own paradise"

I had always loved modeling; even when I was younger, I loved taking photos. I have always been photogenic and wanted to take modeling to the next level. I am ready to stand forward on my passion and do whatever it takes to push my modeling career to new heights!

Do you ever get shy in front of the camera?

In reality, I am a very introverted person. I stay to myself most of the time, but I become a completely different person when I am in front of the camera. It's as if my alter ego takes on full effect, and I am no longer Kita. I am energetic and lively. I was made for this.

What was the first thing you learned as a model?

The first thing I learned as a model is to never put your head down. Stand up tall and breathe confidence. I didn't quite understand that till I got deeper into the industry. Modeling isn't just about a pretty face. You can be beautiful and still have no confidence at all. You can have the most gorgeous body and still be insecure. It's all about how you see yourself, not how the world sees you. I think that's why most women never make it through safely because they dedicate themselves to pleasing the world instead of doing or being what makes them happy. So when I was able to finally grasp the concept of loving myself before anyone else and doing what makes me happy. I not only became a better model but a stronger woman.

What is your big model dream?

My big model dream is to become a powerful influencer and editorial model. I want to inspire young women of our generation to have a full-time career and follow their dreams. Never let anyone make you believe that you have to choose between your passions. Anything is possible with dedication and a good work ethic.
