London-bred, Dallas-based drill artist OG Blacks is making waves with his latest release “Filthy Rich,” a compelling reimagining of Headie One’s “Martin Sofa.” The track serves as both a statement piece and a testament to unwavering ambition in the face of doubt.
With razor-sharp drill beats and authentic UK flavor, OG Blacks weaves a narrative that resonates deeply with dreamers and go-getters. The song captures the raw emotion of pushing forward when others question your vision, specifically drawing from his bold move from London’s drill scene to Texas’s emerging market.
“Filthy Rich” showcases OG Blacks’ versatility as an artist, bridging the gap between UK drill’s gritty essence and Texas’s distinctive sound landscape. The track’s radio-friendly version maintains its edge while reaching for broader appeal, demonstrating OG’s ability to adapt without compromising his artistic integrity.
