Asian-American singer, rapper, and songwriter, Star2 has released a brand new single titled “New Me.” On this track, he features Luh Keh and rapper Soulja Boy as he lets the world in on his rags-to-riches story.
As a kid born in a refugee camp in Thailand, Star2 had one of the most challenging childhoods. His teenage mother abandoned him amid the chaos, and he was only able to land in the United States after his grandmother was selected in a lottery to migrate to the States.
He also had it tough here in the States, dealing with poverty, racial discrimination, and lack of opportunities. But in all these, Star2 found love, solace, and redemption in music, and now he can tell the world his grass-to-grace story.
This is the second single off his upcoming hit EP, which will be released soon and feature the likes of HoodTrophy Bino, Lil Poppa from CMG, popular Asian rapper $tupid, Sacramento star Mozzy, and others.
