J.PERIOD “The Legend of Globetrottin” Limited Edition Comic Book & Record Set

J.PERIOD, a renowned DJ/Producer, just released a limited-edition comic book-and record set in collaboration with Dan Lish, an acclaimed illustrator. The set is inspired by “Globetrottin,” Story To Tell (Chapter One), starring Masego, Shad, Jemele Hill & Bobbito Garcia.

“The Legend of Globetrottin,” an animated comic book and live-action featurette accompany the physical release. This short film combines song, story, illustration, live-action, and..puppets featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff and puppet and production designer The Boom Bab Kids.

The set features a custom collectible book featuring full-color illustrations and a centerfold poster. In addition, the exclusive 7″ vinyl record has radio and instrumental edits.

J.PERIOD will be taking center stage with an all-star line-up of legendary hip-hop musicians, creating a unique live Hip Hop experience. “Story To Tell: Live” fuses J.PERIOD’s “Story To Tell” album series and his highly-acclaimed performance series “The Live Mixtape,” featuring Black Thought, Yasiin Bet, Rakim, Rick Ross, and promises two unforgettable evenings. Live taping will be possible at both events. The next chapter of the “Story to Tell” album series will be released in February 2023, J.PERIOD Presents “Stories To Tell (Chapter Two).”
