Lumidee Returns with New Song “Fria”

Lumidee

Spanish Harlem queen Lumidee has returned to the music scene with a sizzling hot tone she calls “Fria.” Bouncing off a dope combination of Middle Eastern and Latin American sounds, this song and its video clearly represent life and fun in underground New York.

When her parents named her Lumidee, which means “Illuminated,” little did they know that she would turn out to be an illuminating light that would light up the music industry. When she first broke into the industry in 2003 with the hit track “Never Leave You,” Lumidee hit the limelight almost immediately, with the song skyrocketing to the number three spot on the Billboard Charts. It also clinched her the number one spot in over 10 different countries.

Lumidee went on to sign a recording deal with Universal Record, where she released her first album, “Almost Famous.” She later dropped her second album, “Unexpected,” on TVT Records, and ever since, she has collaborated with the likes of Tony Sunshine, Dave East, NORE, and Pitbull. In 2016, she also did a song with Fatman Scoop for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Right now, Lumidee records under her own label, Logy Music, and she has made so many great projects ever since the launch of this label.
