Limage Unveils “Spooky”: A Darkly Empowering Anthem for Self-Love & Defiance

Limage

Alt hip-hop sensation Limage returns with “Spooky,” a track that challenges societal fears around unapologetic self-confidence. Featuring sultry undertones and a low-key, hypnotic beat by LosHendrix (known for work with SZA and Brent Faiyaz), “Spooky” is a seductive dive into empowerment, exuding raw self-love and rebellion.

Following her successful debut single “Float” and the hit “Plug-In,” which collectively amassed hundreds of thousands of streams, Limage is carving her name into the alt hip-hop scene. In “Spooky,” Limage shifts from the dreamy tones of “Float” to a darker, assertive vibe that draws listeners into a space of confrontation with their own “shadow sides.” As she explains, “This song is about claiming my power. People project shame onto self-love, but to me, it’s resilience. I guess I spook ’em, and I’m here for it.”

Limage’s sound transcends genre, blending R&B, pop, and alternative influences. “Spooky” carries an empowering message that’s both defiant and intimate—an anthem that celebrates the beauty of embracing every part of oneself.

Raised in a creative family with deep musical roots, Limage’s journey is supported by her role model mother, a pioneer in Haiti’s first all-women Konpa band. From the church choir to her own multidimensional artistry, Limage embodies independence, boldly crafting her path as a rising star.
