Dr.Vibez Explores the Language of Emotion on “Feelings”

For Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Dr.Vibez, music offers a language for experiences that are not always easy to express. Born Excel Otanjah and hailing from Port Harcourt, he draws on African musical influences while embracing contemporary sounds, developing an artistic identity that reflects both his roots and personal evolution.

“Feelings” brings that emotional perspective into focus. The title points toward the complicated inner world where desire, vulnerability, and self-expression intersect. It is a fitting direction for an artist whose creative philosophy centers on translating lived experiences into music. With his background in songwriting and production, Dr.Vibez has the opportunity to explore those emotions from both sides of the recording process.

His versatility remains central to his ambitions. Rather than allowing one genre to define his career, Dr.Vibez is pursuing a sound that accommodates his musical heritage, modern influences, and changing perspective. “Feelings” adds another chapter to that journey, placing emotional connection at the heart of his artistic vision.
