Chxrry22 is back—and she’s front and center. Dropping her latest single “Main Character” via XO Records/Republic Records, the rising R&B-pop star kicks off summer 2025 with a glow-up anthem for the girls who know they run the storyline.
With a hypnotic neon-synth loop and punchy 808s, the track pulses with energy and attitude. Chxrry delivers with effortless confidence, declaring, “I’m the main character,” a line that feels less like a hook and more like a mission statement. Originally teased on TikTok, “Main Character” quickly caught fire with over 17K user creations before its official drop, signaling that fans were more than ready for this chapter.
Following the success of “Just Like Me” and co-signs from UPROXX, Rated R&B, and BET, Chxrry continues to prove she’s not just another voice—she’s a movement. From sold-out shows with FLO to surprise guest appearances on stage with Rema, her stage presence is as undeniable as her pen.
And with a cameo on The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow and a spot in the video for “Cry For Me,” Chxrry isn’t just making music—she’s making moments.
“Main Character” is more than a song. It’s a reminder: this is Chxrry22’s world—we’re just living in it.
