For Ben Righter, music was never something he had to discover. His family recognized his instinct for singing while he was still a toddler, and that early connection developed through school choruses, talent shows, songwriting, and years of simply singing because it felt natural. What began as instinct eventually became a career shaped by both performance and craft.
“SOMEBODY LIKE YOU” arrives from an artist with experience on both sides of the record. Alongside his own work, Righter has written with independent acts and major production companies, giving him an understanding of songwriting that extends beyond vocal performance alone. That foundation brings added weight to a record centered around his identity as a singer and songwriter.
His live resume is equally substantial, with opening appearances for artists including Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, and Usher. “SOMEBODY LIKE YOU” continues a journey that began with an unmistakable love of singing and grew into something far more deliberate.
