In a powerful display of raw emotion and artistic resilience, Augustus V’s latest track “God Willing” emerges as a testament to unwavering determination. The trap-infused hip-hop masterpiece showcases the artist’s versatility, seamlessly blending elements of cloud hop and emo hip-hop to create a sound that’s both innovative and authentic.
Drawing comparisons to heavyweights like Don Toliver, J. Cole, and Drake, Augustus V brings his own unique flavor to the table. His journey from homelessness to triumph, including becoming an award-winning bodybuilder and successful entrepreneur, infuses every bar with genuine depth and perspective.
“God Willing” serves as more than just a song – it’s a narrative of persistence, delivered through crisp production and compelling lyricism. The track, released under AVE, demonstrates why Augustus V’s self-description as “The underdog that everyone acts like they bet on when he starts winning” rings increasingly true.
