Al Merlot is Ready to Roll the Dice in “Bodied (Risk)”

Jacksonville, Florida, artist/producer Al Merlot recently got married and realized he was taking a risk, something few people could do. So he was ready to roll the dice. And that’s what his new hip-hop Jersey Club-style drum track “Bodied (Risk)” is all about – taking risks.

Al Merlot started writing music at a young age and began playing instruments. At 16, he was able to start his journey into production. Fredii B., his business partner, was Merlot’s first step into the music industry in 2017. They formed 1Sip (Formerly CHO53N 1), where they released their collaborative projects “Black Men Don’t cheat,” “Black Velvet,” as well as their latest Mixtape, “Purple Petals.” Al Merlot has worked with Platinum Producer MGeezy since then and has performed at KCamp and Xavier Wulf. Al Merlot’s experience has taught him to have fun, and he encourages his listeners to love what they do and want in life.
