“But got confessions, easily turned to lessons, thoughts of me being a legend, environment just won’t let me…”
– quote from “Limits”
Fast-rising Shreveport, Louisiana rapper LiBand has just dropped a new street anthem, “Limits” alongside its video. The talented emcee who recently signed a recording deal with Republic Records has once again solidified his place in the music industry as a superstar who is here to stay.
On this emotional track, the young rapper spits out some hard facts as he talks about life on the streets, living with both lovers and haters, and keeping your head up to keep grinding regardless of anything that comes your way. It’s a song that preaches that there is no limit to what one can achieve as long as they have their eyes set on the prize.
This banging track comes after the release of his first two singles “My Sins” and “Due Date” on which he featured Toosii. These two tracks received massive acceptance, both gathering over half a million views on YouTube.
LiBand has been experimenting with music ever since he was a child. Starting from the tender age of five, he was rapping while growing up in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ever since then, he had been working on this passionate craft, making a mixtape, and a host of hit singles such as “Steppa”, “Mercy on Me”, “Due Date”, and “My Sins”.
His style of music is influenced by the likes of Tupac, Lil’ Wayne, and Kevin Gates. LiBand revives old classics by sampling them, and adding his new school melody and emotional lyrical dexterity to create dope hit tracks.
Using his music as a tool, LiBand aims to inspire the world, fill it with positivity, and make us all realize that we are greater than all our challenges. Having signed a new record deal with Republic Records, LiBand is now on a row to dish out more musical bangers, so watch this space!
