“She hop in my whip, text you good night, ball like I’m Wilt, ain’t checking no price…”
– quote from “Goodnight”
Florida hip hop artist Cris Streetz’ latest effort is a new collaboration with Bagboy Keem. Titled “Goodnight”, it’s a melodic song full of infectious braggadocio.
Born in the Bronx and raised in Tampa, Florida influenced Cris’ musical style, creating a fusion of the two regional sounds. He spent a few years perfecting his craft with producer Noc and released his first single titled “Ratched” at the end of 2016, which created a buzz on East Coast radio stations. He also released his first EP “Pregame” in 2017.
“Hands Up”, his single in 2018, received praise from station heavies Ebro, Rosenberg and Funk Flex, and spins at Hot 97. He kept busy, releasing follow up hits including “All Week,” “Risks’ and “G’z Up”. His track “Hold Me Down” earned nearly 80K plays that same year.
Cris Streetz signed to So Raspy founded by his mentor Jadakiss. He released several singles in 2020 and joined rapper Ninety on “They Hate”, which premiered on Bet Jams.
