“Sleeping on me gotta be on Zans, how you claiming that you popping but got no bands, Imma a real hustler if I touch it flip the whole bag…”
– quote from “Knockin’”
San Diego, California hip hop artist, iLLy We$tSide recently dropped new track titled “Knockin’”. The song evolved at a birthday house party. Elevated Company copped the beat from super Lithuania producer Hokatiwi. Swan instantly created the hook and set the vibe for the whole crowd. In a few hours, the verses got created with a feature from Keylow with Nettwork. It was then recorded and sent to Jay Wat production. Later on, the song was remade due to a fall out between Nettwork and iLLy.
iLLy We$tSide’s name speaks for itself. iLLy means cool and the west side is where he grew up. He delivers sincerity in his flow, as his music is a reflection of his own personal character.
