Up and coming Brooklyn Artist, Mophead TBC, is an unsigned rapper that has recently caught the attention of a few big labels. As a result of his grind, he has a long career in store for him.
In summer of 2019, Mophead TBC became familiar with the studio life through unusual circumstances. He connected with a musically gifted group hailing from the Cooper Projects in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The group consisted of rising stars such as Star Dinero, Rich Milano and Jay Capalot. They started spending every weekend crammed in a studio space, but they were happy to be making projects and perfecting their musical craft together. The group later titled themselves Out the Mud, in reference to the Cooper Projects adjacent to Cooper Park. They started creating their first songs as young as the 3rd grade and has been set on a path of determination, guaranteed to yield future results and some amazing music.
Mophead TBC and his gang use to sneak into bars and performance space just to have a chance to perform. Mophead TBC finally was able to grace the SOBs stage with the song 718 that drew attention to his page, as it reached 100,000 plays.
Mophead TBC is very active and has dropped a variety of tracks that flex his creative versatility from hard hitting drill records such as “09-07” to melodic tracks. As his singles and videos continue to gain traction, the Bedstuy raised artist will continue to do all he can to spread his message to the world.
Working and shooting visuals with videographers Goddy Woddy and Caine Frame, who has worked with iconic drill artists such as Pop Smoke, 22gz, Mophead TBC is destine to blow up next in the Brooklyn rap scene.
As Mophead TBC continues to make music that appeals to a wide of variety music lovers, it is clear that he’s an artist that you should keep an eye on now and in the future.
