Focus The Truth Drops “Days of Our Lives”

Focus The Truth

“Gotta place your hand out, but not accepting handouts. I rather take the man route, can’t sit down when you stand out…”

– quote from “Days of Our Lives”

Lyrical New York artist Focus The Truth drops “Days of Our Lives” from his latest project called “Immortal”.

In the song, Focus spits bars about the pressures that black young men deal with in life including the negative influence in the streets to getting caught up by the police.

In the video, a young man is faced with peer pressure from misguided friends who tries to lure him into doing mischievous things, but he makes the right decision not to follow them and goes home safely. However, his friends make the wrong decisions and gets caught up.

Focus The Truth got into music at the early age of 14 and became a master at wordplay and ultimately a force to be reckoned with. He uses his lyrical ability to spread positivity to the world, unlike some of the music you hear today.
