G.I. Gizzle is a passionate rap artist from Gary, IN who loves to narrate his story to his audience in the most original words possible. He hopes to be of help to the less privileged, and also make hip hop a lot more transforming than what it is today.
Apart from 2Pac, E-40, and Mac Dre, Boosie Badazz is one of the hip hop artists that G.I. Gizzle looks up to for inspiration and motivation in the industry.
Boosie Badazz is a Louisiana born and bred rap artist who is also an actor and songwriter. He ventured into rap game in the 1990s as a member of the Concentration Camp. Nevertheless, he pursued his career path all by himself and released an album “Youngest of da Camp” in 2000. He then signed with Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment and has released numerous albums, mixtapes, and various collaborations with other prominent artists.
G.I. Gizzle collaborated with Boosie in his latest music video titled “Barcode”. The inspiration for the song came to him after his encounter with Jay Prince Jr. of Rap-A-Lot Records. The video was shot in Texas and it features his popular clothing line “DirtBagz”, which was worn by Boosie and Gizzle. Within a few days after its release, “Barcode” already recorded over 50,000 views on YouTube and was featured on WorldStar Hip Hop.
