Ashya Releases Visual for “Steez”

“Yeah, I got a bad habit, might be from another planet …”

– quote from “Steez”

South Korean American singer, performing artist and songwriter Ashya is back with the highly anticipated video for her girl power anthem “Steez”.

The fast growing R&B artist has been gaining recognition ever since her debut mixtape ‘“Expectations” in November 2018.

“Steez” is an empowering track that preaches girl power and talks about making the mark and soaring higher. Ashya initially released the audio file for “Steez” in February as part of her third EP.

The visual for “Steez” is serenading, simple and fun as Ashya opens up singing about being from another planet and standing taller than the tress. She features her friends during a girl’s night out as they vibe to this empowering track.

Her vocals, combined with word play and the pleasing visuals radiates charm and an effortless confidence and beauty that every girl should have. The track is also one that can send a message to the guys, letting them know just what a total package she is.

The official video for “Steez” is produced by multi-platinum producer Micah and licensed under Red Kloud Society.

The EP “Steez”, which has been trending among fans of Ashya and lovers of R&B encapsulates the journey to self-discovery that she is currently on in Los Angeles.

It is the artist’s third project so far, with “Vibe” and “Expectations” as the other two, and it showcases her perfect sound, artistry as well as the different elements that have shaped her personal identity.

Ashya grew up struggling to find her identity as an Asian-American while facing stereotypes and restrictions. Music helped her break through from the hold of society, create an identity for herself, and make a place for herself in the industry.

Ashya dedicates her songs and efforts to setting free other minorities held back by stereotypes and expectations and she has continued to blaze the trail in that area.

Ashya is currently an artist with Red Kloud Society where she continues to grow her sound as a R&B artist and a public performer.

Check out “Steez” and keep your eyes on this artist who is undeniably talented.
