– quote from “Y.O.U.”
It is one thing to have begun a music career quite early in life, and it is yet another thing to have a successful record label. This is the case of teenage rapper, Luh Kel.
Luh Kel, is a St. Louis, Missouri native who takes to the stage to publicly express his love for R&B. Having begun his music career quite early in life, he first took to Instagram to gather fame with his freestyle rapping. Then he moved on to writing and now, recording his own songs. His label name is Cinematic Music Group, and he self-produced his own songs.
Not only does Luh Kel sing and write songs, he is also talented on the keyboard and piano in a nearly impossible manner. Sometimes, he plays solo, other times, he loves to go all the way in his videos.
Having peaked his music career in 2019 after his release of “Wrong”, he has progressed into releasing his already famous single “Y.O.U.”. It is really no coincidence that “Y.O.U.” is gaining a lot of popularity because his previous release topped the Billboard Hot R&B charts at 37 in 2019. He also received a Gold certificate from RIAA. “Y.O.U.” was produced with captivating visuals and sounds by Edgar Jonny, Adam Ben and Blanksquare.
In the video, Luh Kel acts as a newbie in school who trespasses cabal boundaries. In the end, he shows that love and not feelings is the ultimate and the only thing the progress of a record should depend on.
