“Dolla signs, dolla signs, focus on my paper. It’s a grind, it’s a grind, but I still try to hit you on the late-night, on the FaceTime just so you know I’m thinking about you…”
– quote from “Dolla $igns”
Miami based R&B artist Teenear is back with a hit track “Dolla $igns” and this one is a total package in every sense of the word. Following her hit track “I Like That” where she featured Lil’ Baby, “Dolla $igns” is a whole new mood as Teenear weaves passion, career and love into this one in a melodious blend one cannot resist.
“Dolla $igns” is all about independence as Teenear sings about focusing on her career, making money and going places. However, in the pursuit of her career, she still finds love coming into the picture and tries to keep the one she loves close.
Teenear gives fans an outlook of how to balance love and career even as they chase after both without having to sacrifice any. It is really beautiful to hear her sing about making the dollars and loving someone deeply in the same track.
Teenear sings in the second verse of this alluring track that intertwines independence and love, telling her lover how she constantly thinks about him even when she’s off making money.
An anthem for all the independent ladies out there, Teenear teaches how important love is even in the midst of grinding and building yourself and your career.
Dolla Sign is smooth, melodious, blend of sultry and sexy from the first verse to the end and I can say that Teenear has made another hit with this track.
Before Teenear released the official video for “Dolla $igns”, choreographers Aliya Janell and Tallie Leon jumped on the track and done a video.
The singer and songwriter has been working on her debut project via her record label Slip-N-Slide Records and “Dolla $igns” is a part of this project alongside her other tracks “I Like That” and “Need Your Love”.
Talking about her project, Teenear said “Honestly, it’s really me just telling my story of me growing up in love, I guess I can say? It’s going to be a big representation of who I am and my thoughts.”
Teenear has always been recognized as a talent even from her earlier days when she did covers for Rihanna’s “Stay” and Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You”, both covers that created a buzz on YouTube at the time.
Since her 2015 debut single “Friday Night” up till this moment, Teenear has grown progressively especially as she has carved a niche for herself with her unique blend of R&B and pop.
