We live in a world full of wonders. From being a stripper to becoming the first female artist to win the Best Rap Album Grammy, last night was undoubtedly the best night in Cardi’s life. But it seems as Grammy wasn’t the only award she received last night, she got the ultimate one as her daughter said the word “Mama” for the first time.
Cardi B, who is very private about her seven month old daughter Kulture Kiari, recorded the moment and shared it on her Instagram covering Kulture’s face with a giant heart-eye emoji.
“After a week of only saying Papa, she’s saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture! We love you.” She wrote with the video.
She also mentioned her daughter in her acceptance speech.
“I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter. It’s because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete.” She said, adding, “I had three songs, and then you know how it was…we was like ‘We have to get this album done. I can shoot these videos while I’m still not showing.”
She also thanked her husband for the constant support. “You, Husband, thank you. He was like ‘You gonna do this album girl. We gonna have this baby and we’re gonna make this album.” She said.
